JONES, IVES EVANS, March 17, 1924 – April 12, 2008

Ives Evan Jones, age 84, a beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully, April 12, 2008 surrounded by family and friends.

He married Nina Heckli on June 5, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Ives is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nina, three children, Teresa Banks and husband Bob, Todd Jones and wife Jeanine, and Diane Lawrenz, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

He was born in Malad City, Idaho on March 17, 1924. He and Nina moved to Caldwell, Idaho in 1963 where he owned the Western Auto Store for over 25 years.

He and his wife moved to Eagle, Idaho to be close to their daughters in 2005 after he suffered a minor stroke.

A graveside service will be held in the Malad City Cemetery, April 19, with military rites by Ernest W. Jones Post #65.
