Ivar A. Pearson

PRESTON-Ivar A. Pearson, 83, died Oct. 6, 1992, at the Logan Regional Hospital. He was born Dec. 2, 1908 at Millville, Utah, the son of Mauritz and Lydia Nielson Pearson. He married Mina Lewis Sept. 9, 1931 in Malad, Idaho. The marriage was late solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a warehouseman at David E. Davis, Burton Feed, and Franklin County Grain until he retired.

He is survived by his wife of Preston, three daughters, a son and their spouses, Bonnie & DeWayne Kendall; Mesa and Preston; Valene and LaMar Jones, all of Ashton, Idaho; A. Jay and Donna Pearson, Pocatello, Idaho; Vicki and DalVon Atkinson, Preston; 18 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister, Otto Pearson, Hamilton, Mont.; Arnold Pearson, Ogden, Utah.; and Irene Johnson, Preston, Idaho.

Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 9, 1992 at 12 p.m. in the Preston South Stake Center with Bishop Philip Cromwell conducting. Friends may call at Webb Funeral Home Thursday evening 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery.
