ISABEL TOVEY

Graveside services for Isabel Davis Tovey, 92, of Boise, who died December 13, 1983 were conducted in Malad on December 16.

Isabel was born on June 30, 1891 in Salt Lake City, UT. She married James Chivers Tovey on April 8, 1913 in Malad. They moved to Boise in 1942. She attended Brigham Young University and taught home economics at Malad High School.

She was a charter member in 1926 of the Malad Acacia Chapter No. 69, Eastern Star, became Worthy Matron, and was affiliated with the Boise Chapter No. 65 in 1960. She was also a member of Daughters of the Nile, Iras Temple, No. 40, Boise.

Survivors include a sister, Ethel Nibert of Malad; two sons, Boyd and Jim, both of Boise; eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.
