West Valley City, Utah – Ina Sperry Thomas, 86, of West Valley and former Clifton resident died April 1, 1989 in West Valley City, Utah.

She was born March 5, 1903 in Clifton to John V. and Jessie Maunder Sperry. She grew up and was educated in Clifton and Preston, and graduated from Preston High School.

She married David W. Thomas June 22, 1928, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.

She taught school for several years and was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many capacities.

She is survived by her husband of West Valley City; two sons, D. Brent Thomas, Orem, UT and G. Bart Thomas, Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, as well as a sister, Mrs. Keith (Zora) Gudmunson.

Funeral services were held in the Granger LDS First Ward Chapel in West Valley City, UT. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
