Funeral services were held Saturday at Brigham City for Mrs. Ila Eliason Cottam, 78, who died Sept. 8th, 1963 at a Brigham City hospital following a stroke.

Mrs. Cottam was born Nov. 11, 1885, at Stone, to August and Emma Anderson Eliason. She was married to Leo Cottam June 29, 1904 in Brigham City and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Cottam died Nov. 25, 1960. Mrs. Cottam was reared in Snowville and active there in the Curlew Stake, where she served as Sunday school teacher, YWMIA secretary and ward organist. In 1925, they moved to Brigham City. Mrs. Cottam served as Relief Society teacher there.

Surviving are four daughters, two sons, Mrs. Doris Frost, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Erland (Blanche) Thampson, Tremonton; Mrs. Wesley (Muriel) Anderson, Mrs. Don (Donna) Sederholm, Brigham City; DeVon and Lyle Cottam, Ogden; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bert Eliason, Malad; Chester Eliason, Holbrook.
