Hyrum Richard Chivers

Hyrum Richard Chivers, 71, died in a hospital at Boise Tuesday, Nov. 6th, 1962.

Born Nov. 29, 1890 at Malad, he married Rose Kinghorn Dec. 22, 1916 in Idaho Falls. The couple moved to Boise from Pocatello 13 years ago. Mr. Chivers was a retired carpenter.

A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he is survived by his wife of Boise; four sons, Wayne of Idaho Falls, Evan of Pocatello, James of Las Vegas, Nev.; Dr. Robert Chivers, Boise; two daughters, Mrs. Stella Harris, St. Anthony and Mrs. Enid Thompson of Boise; a brother, James Chivers of Malad; two sisters, Eliza and Leah Evans, both of Malad; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the 15th LDS Ward Chapel in Boise Friday afternoon.

Those from Malad attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. James Chivers, Mrs. Eliza Evans and Mrs. Leah Evans.
