PORTAGE — Mrs. Hope John Price, 26, wife of DeVon J. Price, died Monday at 11 p.m. at an Ogden hospital.

She was born March 29, 1927, in Portage, Box Elder County a daughter of Ora and Geneva Hall John. She was reared and educated in Portage and graduated from Bear River High School.

She was married to DeVon Price, Feb. 22, 1945, in Woodruff, Idaho. Two years later they received their LDS endowment in the Logan Temple.

She had been a Sunday School and Primary teacher in the Portage Ward and was active in music circles in the Bear River Valley.

Surviving are her husband and one daughter Jeannette, Portage; her parents, Portage; one brother and two sisters. Ronald John and Mrs. Kathryn Clark, both of Portage, and Mrs. Iris Jones, Malad.

Funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday) at 1 p.m. at the Portage LDS Ward Chapel.

Interment will be in Portage cemetery, under direction of Harold B. Felt Funeral Home of Brigham City.
