Brother of local woman died Dec. 9 in Ogden

Homer Lee Stoddard, age 68 of Roy, Utah, died Thursday, Dec. 9 at an Ogden hospital of cancer.

Mr. Stoddard was born Nov. 27, 1908 in South Hooper, Utah, a son of George Franklin and Cynthia Priscilla Hardy Stoddard.

he was married to Irene Leona Jensen on April 7, 1932 in Coalville, Utah. He was an artesian well driller and farmer; lifelong resident of Weber and Davis Counties; and a member of the Roy 8th LDS Ward.

Surviving are his widow of Roy; three sons and one daughter; 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Also surviving are three brothers and five sisters, including Mrs. Wayne (Peggy) Wakley, Malad.

Service were held Monday at Roy. Burial was in the Hooper Cemetery.
