Henry J. Noble, 44, St. John, Oneida, County died at Bakersfield, Calif. while on a business trip over the weekend. Born at Malad, Dec. 16, 1911 to Dan A. and Margaret Jones Noble. Married Marian Thompson Dec. 16, 1937, in Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors: widow, daughter, Janis, parents; two brothers, three sisters. Funeral Thursday, 1 p.m. at St. John Ward Chapel. Friends may call at family home in St. John Wednesday evening and Thursday until time of service. Burial in St. John Cemetery under direction of Benson Funeral Home.

Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at the St. John LDS chapel for Henry J. Noble, 44, who died at Bakersfield, California Friday. Bishop Melvin Yearsley will officiate at the services.
He was born at Malad, December 16, 1911, a son of Don A. and Margaret Jones Noble. Reared and educated at St. John, he was a graduate of the Malad High School. Mr. Noble was a member of the LDS church and a high priest in the St. John ward at the time of his death. He served as ward clerk in the St. John ward and was first counselor in the bishopric for several years. He married Marian Thompson, December 16, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They resided in Ogden for one year; returned to Malad for three years; lived at Antioch, California for three years and returned to Malad and St. John where they have since resided. He was engaged in mink farming.
Surviving are his widow and a daughter, Jania, St. John; his parents: Mr. and Mrs. Don A. Noble, St. John; two brothers and three sisters: Mrs. Glen (Margaret) Morgan and Mrs. Jack (Katherine) Walker, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ivan (Isabel) Hunsaker, Wendell, Idaho Don Noble Jr., Delano, California, Neal Noble, Malad.
