MALAD WOMAN’S FATHER DIES AT BLACKFOOT

Blackfoot — Henry David Pearson, 70, resident of Bingham County for more than half a century and one of the county road crew for 20 years, died Friday [June 14, 1963] at Bingham Memorial Hospital after being hospitalized a week.

A daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Louise) Williams, lives in Malad.

Mr. Pearson was born Aug. 13, 1892, in Hille[sic], Sweden, the son of Per Johan and Christina Ahlen Trajbonsic. He came to America in 1912 and his early life was spent at Shelley.

He married Hazel Belnap[sic] Nov. 23, 1932 when they moved to Moreland. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple May 5, 1955. He was serving as secretary to the High Priest group at the time of his death.

In addition to Mrs. Williams, he is survived by his widow, Moreland; two sons and another daughter, David Ross Pearson, with the U.S. State Department in Vienna, Austria; Ray Don Pearson, Blackfoot; Mrs. A. L. (Hilda) Gummersall[sic], Grace. Also surviving are one brother, Sam Pearson, Woodville, Idaho; four brothers and a sister in Sweden. There are 11 grandchildren.

Those attending funeral services at Moreland Monday from Malad were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Williams and Mrs. Leland Williams.
