GRIFFIN, HENRY ALFRED

LOGAN, UTAH – Henry Alfred Griffin, 93, died this morning in a Logan hospital. He was born in Clarkston, UT, October 29, 1878 to William and Eliza Thompson Griffin. He married Mary Elizabeth Richardson in Malad on September 2, 1908 in the Logan LDS Temple.

For 51 years Mr. Griffin pioneered and farmed in Rigby. He retired and moved to Logan in 1949. He was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Surviving are his wife; the following children: Henry Alfred Griffin, Jr., Corvallis, MT; Mrs. Juanita Dunn, Pocatello; Kerney Griffin, Grace; Mrs. Ralph (Victoria) Hayes and Mrs. George (Wanda) Summers, both of Aberdeen; Mrs. Mary carter, Shelley; Mrs. Lee (Lavon) Caudle, Idaho Falls; two grandchildren whom he raised, Mrs. Leah Mae Buhler, Darby, MT, and Ronald Griffin, Florence, MT; a total of 32 grandchildren and 17 great grand children.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Logan LDS Second Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Clarkston Cemetery.
