GRIFFITHS, DEAN W.

Dean W. Griffiths, 65, died August 1, 1988 in the Oneida County Hospital. He was born November 18, 1922 in Malad to David and Maude Griffiths. He attended Oneida County schools and graduated from Malad High School.

He married Joyce Marshall October 12, 1946.

He was a member of the LDS Church and a Veteran of World War II. At the time of his death he belonged to American Legion Ernest W. Jones Post No. 65.

He is survived by one daughter, Connie Gonzales of Libby, MT; one son, David Lee Griffiths of Payson, UT; three sisters, Elaine Madson and Carol Deschamps, both of Malad, and Donna Thomas, Milwaukee, OR; an uncle Wendell Williams, Malad; an aunt, Gladys Williams, Portland, OR; five grandchildren. he was preceded in death by his wife.
