MILITARY RITES HERE MONDAY FOR HEBER G. THOMAS, AGE 46

Military rites were conducted Monday by Ernest W. Jones Post, American Legion, at St. John Cemetery for Heber G. Thomas, age 46, who died January 22, 1970 at Ogden of a heart ailment. Funeral services were held at Ogden.

Mr. Thomas was born at St. John June 10, 1923, a son of James and Eliza Leona Olsen Thomas. He married Donna John Oct. 24, 1945 at Logan.

A retired accountant for Defense Depot, Ogden, he was a World War Ii Air Force veteran, member of the Elks and Eagles lodges, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and national Assn. of Retired Civil Service Employees. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are his widow; daughters, Mrs. Randolph (Judy) Kelso, Jeannette, Ogden; a grandchild; father, Malad; brother, Harvey j. Rosemead, CA; sister, Mrs. Clem (Aileen) Thorpe, Roy, Utah.
