EVANS, HARRIETT DENNING

Funeral services are being conducted at the Malad Third Ward Chapel this afternoon for Mrs. Harriett Denning Evans, who died July 11, 1949 at the home of her father-in-law, David R. Evans. Mrs. Evans has been critically ill following an operation in January.

Mrs. Evans, the daughter of the late Agnes Henderson and Uriah Denning, was born in Malad, July 15, 1901. She was married to David E. Evans, June 7, 1923 at Malad. She was the mother of three children, two of whom survive, Grant and Ludell and her husband, and the following brothers and sisters: Robert Denning, Boulder, CO; Mrs. Vernona Webb, Corpus Christi, TX; Mrs. Artella Nelson, Calienta, NV; and Mrs. Pearl Bragger, Ogden, UT.

Mrs. Evans was a member of the LDS Church in which was an active member of the Relief Society and Primary Association. The family moved to Malad in May, 1949 from Ogden where they had been making their home since 1941.
