Harold Perry

THATCHER — Harold Perry, 79, formerly of Perry, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 1989.

He was born Nov. 28, 1909, in Ogden, a son of Hyrum and Mary Dunn Perry.

He married Adella M. Petersen on May 9, 1932, in Brigham. The marriage was solemnized in 1964 in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Jan. 16, 1968.

He married Doris Albertsen Dec. 19, 1969, in Malad, Idaho.

He was a veteran of World War II, had been an Elder in the LDS Church. He had worked for the Bureau of Land Management, Utah Fish & Game, Logan Cattle Association, Pine View Water Works and as Perry Town marshall.

Surviving are his wife of Thatcher, two daughters, Mrs. Dennis L. (Carol) Anderson, Tremonton; Mrs. Gary (Nancy) Ellis, Fulton, Mo.; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one sister, Ruth Beesley, Ogden.

He was preceded in death by two sons and three brothers.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Thatcher Penrose LDS Ward. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Olsen Myers Mortuary in Brigham City and Thursday at the church from 11:45 to 12:45.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the VFW Honor Guard.
