Hannah V. Daniels, 78, 373 North 100 West, Malad, died Saturday evening (28 May 1983) at the Oneida County Hospital following a sudden illness.

She was born Feb. 14, 1905, in Malad, to Elia and Mary Williams Vaughan. Mrs. Daniels was reared and educated in Malad and was a graduate of Malad High School. She worked at the Aldea Theater and also in Jones Confectionery.

On Sept. 21, 1925, she married George B. Daniels, Jr., in Ogden, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on March 29, 1965.

After her marriage she attended Stevens-Henager Business College in Salt Lake City, Mrs. Daniels later worked in a local grocery store.

She was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society as a visiting teacher, in the YWMIA as a secretary, and in the genealogy program. Her hobbies lincluded (sp. included) fishing with her husband, and in the past several years she has been an avid sports fan to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they participated in athletics.

Survivors include her husband, Mlad (sp. Malad); a son, Devon Daniels, Ogden, Utah; three grandchildren, Craig and Kevin Daniels, both of Malad, and Mrs. Robert Sandra Foxley, Ogden, Utah; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service(s) were held at noon Tuesday (Tuesday) in the Malad LDS Fouth (Fourth) Ward Chapel with Bishop Clarence Kent officiating.
