Hanna Marie Harder Naffziger, 91, Malad, died Saturday in St. John at the home of her daughter.
She was born July 16, 1896 in Austin, Texas, to John W. and Bertha Klopsteck Harder.
She married Caryl K. Naffziger May 21, 1925, in Houston, Texas. He died August 18,1983
She was educated and later taught school in Texas. She attended collage at the University of Texas and later graduated from the Rice Institute in Houston, where she received her B.A. degree. She was employed at the Rice Institute Library until her marriage.
She moved to Salt Lake City in 1941 and worked for 25 years as the branch librarian at the Spague Branch Library in Sugar House, near Salt Lake City.
In 1973, she and her husband moved to Malad, where she since resided.
She is survived by two sons, Warren J. Naffziger, Foster City, California and Robert W. Naffziger, Salt Lake City; one daughter, Mrs. Eldon L. (Jeanne Jenkins) John, St. John; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one brother, Robert Harder, Dallas.
Funeral services were Wednesday noon in the United Presbyterian Church in Malad with the Rev. Norman Naugler officiating. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
