GWEN WILLIAMS JONES

Mrs. John M. Jones, 82 of Cherry Creek passed away suddenly this morning, Thursday, (September 9) at 6:30 at her home. Mrs. Gwen Williams Jones the daughter of Jenkin and Rachel Williams was born February 14, 1868 at Tooele, Utah. She was married to John Morse Jones, March 13, 1888.

Ten children were born to this union, six of whom survive; Mrs. Rachel Lowe, Willard, Utah; Walter Jones, Long Beach, California; Morris Jones, Verl Jones, Mrs. Mildred Howard and Mrs. Mary Jones, Malad. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday at the Second Ward chapel.

In addition to survivors listed in last week’s Enterprise are two brothers, J. V. Williams and Thos. J. Williams, Malad; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Evans, Malad; Mrs. Stella Layland, Independence, Mo.; Mrs. Henry Daniels, Long Beach, Calif.; 30 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.
