LYMAN,Wyo-Gregory Paul Willie, 44 of Lyman, Wyoming, formerly Malad, Idaho passed away on Monday, April 24, 1995 in Evanston, Wyoming after a valiant battle with cancer.
Paul was born December 18, 1950 in Logan, Utah, the second son of Carl Ray and Carol Dawn Hendricks Willie. He grew up in Malad, and graduated as the valedictorian from Malad High School in 1969. He was active in football, wrestling, music, and scouting, and earned his Eagle Scout award.

He served an LDS mission in Ontario, Canada, after which he attended Utah State University, and graduated summa cum laude, with a degree in mathematics and physical science. He returned to Malad and worked on the family farm.

In 1981 he met Karen Lee Elliott, and they were married in the Logan, Utah LDS temple on June 11, 1981.

Paul later taught math at Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah, and then at South Rich High School in Randolph, Utah. He also worked as a landman for Elliot Oil Company in Sidney, Montana. Currently he was the head of the math department at Lyman High School. Paul was a devoted father, son, brother, teacher and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Paul is survived by his wife, Karen, three sons and two daughters, Jesse 13, Matthew, 11, Jordan, 9, Nancy, 6, and Anne Marie, 3, all of Lyman, Wyo.; he is also survived by his parents, Carl and Carol Dawn Willie, two brothers and their wives, Tim and Julie Willie and Randy and Lois Willie, and one sister and her husband, Laurie and Jeff Richins, all of Malad, Idaho; his in-laws, Wendell and Doris Elliott, Steve and Michelle Elliott, Rob and Sue Elliott, all of Sidney, Montana, Pat Elliott of Tyler, Texas; and 16 nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 27, in the Lyman LDS Stake Center, Urie, Wyoming, with Bishop Larry Bergeson officiating. Viewing will be held tonight from 7 p.m. To 9 p.m. And one hour prior to services in the Lyman LDS Stake Center at Urie. Graveside services will be in the Malad City Cemetery in Malad, Idaho on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Interment will be in Malad City Cemetery. Arrangements are with Crandall Funeral Home, Evanston, Wyo.
