MALAD – Grace Wass Daniels, 98, longtime Malad resident, died
Tuesday, Jan. 29 (1991), in Payson, Utah.

She was born Feb, 14, 1892, in Fort Hall, a daughter of William E. and Emily Peck Wass. She grew up and was educated in Malad. As a young lady she worked for the Evans Co-Op Department Store in Malad.

She married Rolla (R.V.) Daniels on May 8, 1915, in Malad. He died on Aug. 31,1981.

After her marriage, they lived a short time in Garland, Utah, and later returned to Malad in 1920, where Mr. Daniels purchased a drug store. She had resided in Malad until 1987, when she moved to Payson.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, and was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Acacia Chapter No. 68, where she had been past matron and was a Golden Star.

She is survived by one son, Ralph V. Daniels, Payson, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Doris) Beebe, Tempe, Ariz., and Mrs. Tom (Helen) Edmark, Caldwell; 10 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad. Rev. S. Norman Naugler will be officiant. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad Cemetery.
