FUNERAL TODAY FOR GEORGE J. MORGAN

Funeral services for George Joseph Morgan, 80, who died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1947 at the Byron Leigh home from causes incident to old age, will be held today at the Second Ward tabernacle at 2 p.m. with Bishop W.W. Thomas presiding.

Mr. Morgan was born at Provo, Utah Nov. 6, 1866, the son of Dr. J.W. and Sarah Annie Morgan. The family moved to Malad in 1867. George Morgan was engaged in farming in the Daniels section most of his life.

He was married to Virginia Nicholas Morgan of Brigham City in 1894. To this union seven children were born, four of whom survive. They are A.W. Morgan of Twin Falls, Henrietta E. Scott of Salt Lake City, Georgia W. Forrest of Venice, Calif., Rebecca Forrest of Bellflower, Calif. He is also survived by one sister, Miss Hattie E. Morgan, Malad and 11 grandchildren.
