GAYLEN THEON PRICE
Gaylen Theon Price, 27, killed in Oregon accident
Gaylen[sic] Theon Price, age 27, Heyburn, Idaho, died June 28th [1974] of injuries received in a logging accident at LaGrande, Oregon.
Mr. Price was born at Malad on June 28, 1947, to Mr. and Mrs. Theon Price. He was a graduate of Declo High School and was a member of the football team there when the team earned the state championship. He was graduated from Ricks College, Rexburg, served a mission for the LDS Church in North Texas, was a veteran of the Vietnam War and member of US Army Reserve.
Surviving are his parents; sisters, Judith McCombs, Layton; Darlene Whealley, McCammon; Cheryl Garretts, Ogden; Kathy and Debbie Price, Heyburn; grandparents, Mrs. Deloria Price, Samaria; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hitchings, Rigby.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in Heyburn Second LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Ray Bailey officiating. Burial followed in Samaria Cemetery.
