Funeral Thursday For Elmer V. Price

Funeral services were held Thursday at the Pleasantview LDS Ward chapel for Elmer Vere Price, 70, who died Monday [March 4, 1963] at the Oneida Hospital of a heart ailment. Bishop Leo Brown officiated.

At the home, family prayer was by President Moyle Facer. At the chapel, prelude and postlude music was by Patsy Bybee. Invocation was by Kendall Hatch. Speakers were President Merlin Bastian and John Roderick. Obituary and Remarks were by Bishop Brown. Musical numbers were a vocal duet, Iris Barker and Leora Brown; vocal solo, Jenkin Jones; vocal, Singing Mothers, conducted by Hope Price. Accompanists were Iris Barker and Edith Facer.

Concluding rites were conducted at the Pleasantview Cemetery with dedicatory prayer by Bishop Carl A. Evans.

Military tribute was paid by the color guard and firing squad of the American Legion and World War I Veterans.

Flowers were under the supervision of nieces and the members of the Pleasantview Relief Socity [Society].

Services were under the direction of Benson Funeral Home.

Casket bearers were Joseph Lindsey, Dave Price, John Price, Theon Price, Hugh Sorenson and Rex Waldron.
