Gary Kim Allen was born on September 24th, 1955. He passed away on February 15, 2009. At this time, Kim is on the highway to heaven to be with his Heavenly Farther, and with those that are waiting.

He loved his family and friends and always had a way of making you laugh, and a story to tell. Everywhere he went he left his mark on the world and touched the hearts of many. He always use to say, “if he wasn’t living on the edge he was taking up too much room”.

He was an amazing cement finisher. At the time of his death he was driving truck.

He is survived by his parents Gary M. Allen and Kathleen Edwards Allen. Kim has three brothers Kirk (Rhonda), Todd (Lidia) and Brooks (Tammy). He was first married to Kay Bastian and later divorced and then married to Julie Edwards and divorced. He is survived by his children, Judd, Jennifer, Bobbie Jo, Carly, Kaitlyn and Karson and 9 Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 21, 2009 at 12 noon in the Malad LDS 4th Ward Chapel 20 So. 100 W. Friends may visit with the Allen family on Friday evening Feb. 20 from 6-8 pm at the Horsley Funeral Home 132 W. 300 N. in Malad and on Saturday at the funeral home prior to services from 10:30-11:30 am. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery.
