GARY DAVIS WILLIAMS

Gary Williams died peacefully on May 21, 2012 in Salt Lake City, surrounded by his wife and two sons.

He was born January 4, 1935 in Malad, ID to Llewellyn and Mary Davis Williams. He was a graduate of Malad High School in 1952. He served honorably in the US Army. He managed several service stations for Standard Oil throughout the western states and was a longtime owner/operator of Gary’s Fastlube located at 21st S. and State.

He married Rulene West on March 23, 1962 in Salt Lake City. Gary loved to play golf and enjoyed trips to Wendover and watching his grandsons play Jr. Jazz.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, two sons, Gary Dee (Morna), and Jeffrey Rulon (Patricia), and grandsons, Frank, Tyson and Harley. Also by a sister, Eileen John and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Joel Dean and sister, Luanna Parker.

Funeral services will be May 24 in the Cottonwood 3rd Ward. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
