F. J. Richards Passes Away At Home Tuesday

Funeral services are to be held tomorrow, Friday at 2 o’clock in the First ward chapel for Fredrick J. Richards, who passed away at his home in Malad Tuesday, June 30, [1936] following a lingering illness.

Mr. Richards was born at Malad on March 31, 1870, the son of Thomas W. and Charlotte Thomas Richards, and has been a resident of this community during his entire life.

On July 23, 1890, he was married to Sara J. Adams. To this union twelve children were born.

Mr. Richards was a member of the L. D. S. Church and was very active in church work.

Surviving are his wife, five children, Mrs. Florence Clark, Malad, Fred A. Richards, Los Angeles, California, Mrs. Mary Anderson, Central, Idaho, Mrs. Carrie Anderson, Central, Idaho and Ben A. Richards of Malad; one sister, Mrs. Sara Ann Jones and four brothers, W. H. Richards, Sr., Parley, George and Jacob Richards, all of Malad.
