Fredona (Donna) McClain 1912-2009. On May 25, 2009 our loving mother, Fredona (Donna) Doyle McClain, left this earth to be in the loving arms of her Father in Heaven. Donna was born October 15, 1912 in Malad, Idaho, the daughter of Zepher and Michael Doyle.
Throughout her life she gave freely of her love and support to all around her. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Bob and Donna met during World War 11 at a USO dance. They were married on December 30, 1941. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple
She will be missed by her three daughters: Kathleen and Robyn McClain, and Claudia (Tom) Dryg; three grandchildren, Cameron (Tara) Clayton, and Christine (Jonathan) McCollum; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pat Burt. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Centerville Canyon Ward Chapel, 160 South 300 East, where friends and family may call prior to services from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment – Ogden City Cemetery.
