FREDERICK EUGENE (BUD) JONES
Bud Jones Died At Ogden Wednesday.
Frederick Eugene (Bud) Jones, 51, died Wednesday morning in an Ogden hospital following an illness of five years.
Funeral services are to be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Malad Third ward chapel. Bishop Jesse Hughes will be in charge. Friends may call at the home of his mother, Mrs. Dan T. Jones, 370 Bannock St., Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday prior to the services. Interment will be in the Malad Cemetery.
Mr. Jones was born Oct. 3, 1901 at Malad, a son of Daniel T. and Mary Jane Thomas Jones. He was reared and educated in Malad and made his home here. A lifelong member of the LDS church, he was married to Mary Rose, January 27, 1923 at Malad.
Surviving are his widow, Malad; two sons and two daughters: Fay Eugene Jones and Mrs. Mary Lois Bloxham, both of Downey; Sharon Lee Jones and Wilford DeLon Jones both of Malad; his mother Mrs. Daniel T. Jones, Malad; five grandchildren; five brothers and six sisters: Mrs. Ruth Dives, Mrs. Eleanor Williams, Mrs. Fern Vanover, Stephen L. Jones, all of Malad; Mrs. Pearl Jones, Preston; Mrs. Lillie Jones, Pocatello; Mrs. Leda Ipsen, Ikiah, Calif; Lester T. Jones, Dillon, Montana; Otto Jones, Pioche, Nevada; Max T. Jones, Garden, Nevada and Lenn T. Jones, Reno, Nevada.
