Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Snowville LDS Ward Chapel for Frederick Charles Neal, 87, who died Sunday morning in a Tremonton hospital following a two-month illness.
Mr. Neal was born Oct. 24, 1877, at Salt Lake City to Fred and Jamima Dangerfield Neal. He married Andrea Christina Daley, Oct. 24, 1901, at Malad. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS temple in 1912. Mrs. Neal died Nov. 24, 1964.
Mr. Neal was a former member of the Box Elder County School Board, a member of the Delmore Canal Company, served as president of the Neal family organization for several years; had been a Sunday School teacher and counselor in the Snowville Ward Bishopric.
Surviving are sons and daughters: Clifford Neal, Snowville; Mrs. Vern (Tressie) Steed, Stone; Merle L. Neal, Stone; G. Howard Neal, Malad; Mrs. Ed (Ada) Pratt, Ogden; Duane D. Neal, Ogden; Mrs. Norman (Ella) Talbot, St. George, Utah; 37 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, John Neal, Tremonton; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Robbins, Tremonton; Mrs. Florence Arbon, Snowville.
