Frank L. Timbimboo

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah — Frank-Leonard Timbimboo, 70, died Sept. 16, 1992, at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.

He was born Jan. 16, 1922, in Washakie, Utah, a son of Moroni and Amy Hootchew Timbimboo. He married Helen Pubigee March 21, 1950, in Evanston, Wyo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was an Army veteran during World War II, and had been employed at Hill Field as a quality control specialist.

Frank was branch president and bishop for 16 years at the Intermountain Indian School Ward. He and his wife had been officiators at the Ogden Temple for two years. He served as chairman for the Northern Band of Shoshone people, was involved in a variety of community organizations, and loved serving others. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, camping and his family.

Surviving are his wife, of Brigham City; five children, Gwen T. Davis, Blaine Frank Timbimboo, Byron and Kristy Timbimboo, all of Brigham City, Mrs. Michael (Patty) Madsen of Albuquerque, MM.; Mrs. Doug (Debbie) Orton of Madera, Calif.; and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are his mother, of Clearfield, Utah; and three sisters, Hazel Zundel and Mae Parry, both of Clearfield, and Grace Chatfield of West Valley, Utah. He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Brigham South Stake Center, 865 S. 300 W. Friends may call today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday, 930 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Olsen-Myers Mortuary in Brigham City. Interment will be in the Plymouth Cemetery.
