Frances Ann Leo Stanger

INKOM — Frances Ann Leo Stranger[Stanger], 77, passed away at her home Monday, October 22, 2007, surrounded by loving family.

Frances was born March 4, 1930, in Batesville, Maryland, to Anthony Patrick Leo, (also known as Frederick Ford Lee) and Jessie Dell Reeley. After graduating in Maryland, she moved to Pocatello, Idaho, and later married Elmer H. Stanger on July 31, 1948.

Fran was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elmer and Fran were sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 31, 1965.

Elmer and Fran enjoyed 59 years of marriage and were blessed with five children, E. Rhett (Maggan(sic)) Stanger, Oregon City, Ore., David B. (Debbie) Stanger, Pocatello, Idaho, Mitzi Ann (Steven) Hess, Holbrook, Idaho, Betzi Lee Stanger, Inkom. Idaho. Fran had 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Fran was preceded in death by her parents and two granddaughters.

Graveside services will be held at the Inkom Cemetery on Friday, October 27, 2007, at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers and potted plants, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or other charitable organizations.
