FLORENCE DANIELS

BLACKFOOT – Florence Nita Daniels, 93, died Monday (02 Sep 1985) in the Bingham County Nursing Home.

She was born Feb 15, 1893, in Westville, Mass., to Alonzo C. and Nettie Turner Barnes.

She married Claude Daniels Aug. 12, 1912, in Schenectedy, N. Y. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mesa LDS Temple in 1934. She had worked in the various auxiliaries of the church, serving mostly as a primary teacher.

The Danielses moved to Blackfoot in 1950.

She is survived by one daughter, Connie Thomas, Blackfoot; one sister, Cora Thompson, Westfield, Mass.; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Second-Sixth Wards LDS Church, 680 Teton Road, with Bishop Loren Talbot of the Sixth Ward conducting. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hill-Sandberg Funeral Home and Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. Burial will be in the Grove City Cemetery, Blackfoot.
