Florence L. Hall 82, passed away in St. George, Utah on February 15, 2010.
She was born July 6, 1927 to Alma and Rennis Larkin of Snowville, Utah. As the oldest of four children, she spent her childhood on the family farm and was active in church and school activities. After serving an LDS mission to Hawaii, she started her career in Medical and Accounting Administration.
She married Owen H. Hall on February 20, 1958 in Snowville. He passed away in May of 2002. They enjoyed many years traveling the roads of North America but always loved the cabin in Alpine Wyoming best. Exploring the gravel roads of the West with Owen, friends and family kept her busy for many years. Florence loved meeting and talking with new and old friends in her travels. Florence also loved crocheting, reading and keeping the family informed and connected.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie (Bart) Duce of Millville; stepchildren Bruce (Dianne) Hall of Nibley; Judy Greene of Providence, and son-in-law Terrell Anderson of Hyde Park; 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her siblings Joe (Sally) Larkin, LaNez (Dale) Plummer, Phyllis (Don) Carter, as well as her brother-in-law, Blaine (Carol) Hall and sisters-in-law, Coy Hall Eliason, Marilyn Hall and Florence W. Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a step daughter Joanne Hall Anderson; a stepson Richard Hall and step-daughter-in-law Brenda Scofield and a grandson Travis Hall.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary 34 E. Center in Logan. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, February 19, 2010 at Allen-Hall Mortuary. Friends may also call from 10:30-11:3 a.m. prior to the funeral services.
