Coffin, Florence – 10 Aug 1911
DOWNEY, Ida—Florence Coffin, our beloved mother and grandmother, returned home to her Heavenly Father Tuesday, June 27, 2000.
She was born on August 10, 1911, in Downey, Idaho, the daughter of Jenny and Charles Royter. She lived a long and happy life in Downey, Idaho, with her soul mate, Weldon Coffin. They were married August 12, 1933, in Logan, Utah.
They had two wonderful children, Kathy and Lyle. They were also blessed with three terrific grandchildren that were the light of their life.
Florence made everyone around her happy, and had a special sense of humor. She will be missed by her family, friends, relatives and anyone who has ever met her!
She is survived by her son, Lyle R. Coffin (wife Julie), Las Vegas, Nevada; her daughter, Kathy Richardson, Downey, Idaho; her granddaughter, Stephanie Richardson, Downey, Idaho; and her grandsons, Jeffery Coffin, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Barry Coffin, Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Jenny Jensen, Pocatello, Idaho, Dorothy Hailstone, Pocatello, Essie Allen, Salt Lake City, Utah; and two brothers Ted and Monte Royter, of Boise, Idaho.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, July 1, 2000, at 11:30 a.m. at the Cambridge Cemetery. Following the service, the family would like to receive people at Florence’s home at the Coffin Ranch, to celebrate her life and share the happy memories that we have had with her for the past 88 years.
