SUNSET – Edith Erma Arave Flint, 77, died Saturday, August 20, 1994 at the home of her daughter in Clearfield, of causes incident to age.
She was born July 23, 1917 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of Eugene and Lilley Jennet Simpson Arave.
She married Clifford W. Flint on June 10, 1938 in Farmington. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on July 23, 1974. He died May 15, 1973.
She lived most of her life in the West Point area.
She was a member of the Sunset 2nd LDS Ward. She had served as a Visiting Teacher for many years.
Surviving are one son and two daughters, C. Larren and Sharon Flint, Layton; Mrs. Chuck (Erma Flint) Maughan, Clearfield; Mrs. Kenneth (Julie Flint) Loftus. Ft. Lewis, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers and one sister, Lewis L. Arave, South Weber; Nelson Arave, Roy; Dean Arave, Salt Lake City; Gene Arave, Hooper; Velma Belnap, Fruit Heights.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Flint Bingham.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Sunset 2nd Ward Chapel, 338 West 1800 North with Bishop Rodney Hasler, officiating.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the Ward Chapel from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, West Point Cemetery.
