Florence Butterfield Breeze Anderson, 90, 1990 Judy Lane, died Monday morning, Oct. 5, 1992, in a local health care facility following a lingering illness.

She was born Nov. 8, 1901, at Tildon, Idaho, to Charles Robert and Adelia Quigley Butterfield. She was the ninth of 12 children. She attended schools in Rockland, Crystal and Pocatello.

She married William Henry Breeze, Oct. 26, 1920, at Dillon, Mont. They farmed and ranched in the Crystal, Idaho area and the Walla Walla, Wash, area until their return to Idaho in 1939. William preceded her in death, Dec. 16, 1943. On April 12, 1946, Florence married Ezra Taft Anderson at American Falls. He preceded her in death, February 17, 1963.

She enjoyed crocheting, letter writing, fabric painting, cooking, and spending time with her children and extended family. She was a long time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A 48 year member of Ivy Rebekah Lodge No. 23. Past Noble Grand, and served in many offices and committees. She also was Past Matriarch of Pocatello Lodge No. 11, Ladies Auxiliary Patriarch Militant. She was also a member of the Beehive Chapter of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She is survived by two sons and their wives, John Robert and “Lee” Breeze of California, and Richard Matt and Ann Breeze of Pocatello; three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Vivian) Dodge of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Tony (Virginia “Babe”) Fancuillo of Dayton, Wash., and Mrs. “Woody” (Ellen) Olive of Pocatello; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several great great and great great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both husbands, eight brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 1992 at Henderson Funeral Chapel, 431 N., 15th Ave., with Bishop David K. Croshaw of the Pocatello LDS 2nd Ward officiating, with ritualistic services by Ivy Rebekah Lodge No. 23. Interment will follow at Mountainview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and for one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
