FAUN ADRIENNE WILLIAMS THOMPSON

Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Faun Adrienne Williams Thompson, 81, passed away peacefully August 16, 2012 in Layton, UT. She was born May 6, 1931 to Ada Smith Williams and William G. Williams in Malad, ID. It was there she met and married the love of her life, Creighton D. Thompson on May 23, 1952. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

Adrienne’s charming wit and sparkling smile made her the life of any party. Work was always fun with her at the Riverdale Drive In and Cinedome 70 Theater. She enjoyed vacationing with her family and friends at her condo in St. George. Adrienne followed her adventurous spirit and traveled the country with her sweetheart, Creighton.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Adrienne served valiantly in the Primary, Young Womens and Relief Society. She volunteered at Weber Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Adrienne was also an active member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

She is survived by her four children, Cindy (Robert) Heiser of Layton, UT; Peter Rodney (Deanna) Thompson of Stansbury Park; Kevin (Lisa) Thompson of Kaysville; and Troy (Michele) Thompson of Logan; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Edwin (Kristi) Williams of Bear River, and sisters, Maxine (Wayne) Korth of Kaysville, UT and Ann Williams of Brigham City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, four brothers, a sister-in-law and her eternal companion and sweetheart, Creighton D. Thompson.

The family would like to thank the staff and her friends at Sante in North Salt Lake for all their loving care. Funeral service will be held at Layton East Stake Center, Layton, UT. Interment will be in the Roy City Cemetery.
