Fairllie Jones Hill Wood, 82, passed away in Pocatello, ID at a long term care center. She ws born in Malad, ID on November 8, 1919 to Margaret Fairlie Jenkins and Albert Davis Jones. She attended school in Malad and graduated from high school.

Fairlie married Edward hill on April 30, 1938 in Logan, UT. They lived in Malad where they farmed for a time and then moved to Pocatello where Ed worked for the P.F.E. Railroad. They bought a 40 acre farm in Tyhee on Ballard Road. Two sons were born to them, Albert and Don. In 1957 they moved in town and lived on Euclid Street.

Fairlie took LPN training and began working for the State Hospital South in Blackfoot, ID from 1961-69. She then went to work for Bannock Memorial Hospital from 1970-77 retiring at that time.

Fairlie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and Edward had their marriage solemnized in 1968 at the Idaho Falls Temple. Edward preceded her in death on September 29, 1969. Fairlie remained very active in the church, teaching primary for 15 years, a stake worker for five years and was a visiting teacher until 2000 when she moved from her home to the Bannock Nursing Home.

Fairlie married William Wood on July 5, 1977. They traveled a lot and enjoyed each other. William preceded her in death November 9, 1983. She lost her eyesight in 1982.

She is survived by her son, Don Edward Hill, Idaho Falls, ID; grandsons, Allen Hill and Todd……(the rest is cut off)
