EVERETT E. TURNER, 75, DIED THURSDAY

Everett Edwin Turner, age 75, died June 26, 1975 in a Pocatello nursing home following a short illness.

Mr. Turner was born Nov. 25, 1899 at New Windsor, NY, a son of Alexander P. and Louise Turner. He never married.

A mechanic, he worked in Malad, Hawaii, Alaska and the Philippines as a US Civil Service employee.

He was educated in the Grace, ,Montpelier, Soda Springs and Malad schools. He was a member of the Fraternal order of Eagles and was a charter member of BPOE in California.

The past eight years he has lived in Malad and Arbon Valley and spent the winter months in Yuma, Arizona and Apple Valley, Mexico.

Surviving are a half brother, Kenneth Turner, address unknown, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was conducted Monday in Benson Funeral Home with Bishop Myron Jones Jr. officiating.

Family prayer was offered by Vance Ward; invocation, J.T. (Tom) Thorpe, and benediction, Vadel Swenson. Speakers were JoAnn Ward, who gave the life sketch, and LaMar Thomas. Vocal solos were presented by Dr. Gerald K. Goodenough and Jess N. Ward, accompanied by Carole Semrad. Mrs. Semrad also played prelude and postlude music. Darel and Jess Ward distributed the programs.

Raiford G. Benson offered the dedicatory prayer at Malad City Cemetery. Casket bearers were Joe Jones, Parry Ward, Milton T. Jones, Loyal Lewis, Dewey Fredrickson and Lee Morgan.

Benson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
