Eva Williams Jones, 91, passed away Thursday evening in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Malad, Idaho on July 18, 1906 to Arthur Merrifield Williams and Mary Penelope Thompson Williams. She moved to Ogden in 1926 to attend the Dee Hospital School of Nursing, graduating as a Registered nurse in 1928. She was a life long resident of Ogden.
She married Harold E. Jones on April 3, 1929 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was active in the LDS Church serving 28 years in the Primary. She served as Relief Society President of the Ogden 17th Ward during World War 11.
She enjoyed 23 winters in Yuma, Arizona with her husband and many dear friends. She loved to be with family and friends. Fishing and going on car trips were her favorite pastimes.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: E. Harold (Cleone) Jones, Rexburg, Idaho; Keith W. (Sharon) Jones, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Lois J. (Brian) Willis, Ogden, Utah; one sister, Jayne Jardine, Clarkston, Utah; 24 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, daughter and son-in-law, Deloris and Darius Coker; grandson Chad Jones and nine brothers and
