Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend,; Beverly Kroll Jones returned to her Father in Heaven on October 22, 1997 at her home in Provo, Utah at the age of 71. She died after a valiant bout with a prolonged kidney ailment. She was the daughter of Alton James and Margareta V. Kroll and was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 8, 1926 in the Salt Lake temple
She is survived by her husband, eight children; a brother; and three sisters: Gene Jones and wife, Sandy, Malad, Idaho; Greg Jones and wife, Evelyn, Mesa, Ariz.; Jim Jones and wife, Talona, Salmon, Idaho; Marc Jones and wife, Beverly, Rockin, Calif.; Melody Little and husband, Jeff, Morgan, Utah; Greta Woodward and husband, Van, Weston, Idaho; Ben Jones and wife, Lisa, Salmon, Idaho; Drew Jones and wife, Kelli, Rockville, Maryland; Jim Kroll, Bountiful; Emily Kay, Clearfield; Beth Atherley, Salt Lake City; and Lois Vincent, Layton. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Crystalee Jones; and one great-granddaughter, Morgin Torley Stenersen.
Beverly held many positions in the LDS Church and served a mission with her husband in the Auckland, New Zealand mission. She was a temple worker in the Provo Temple. She loved children, sports, crafts, was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25th at the Oak Hills Stake Center, 925 E. North Temple Ave., Provo, Utah at 11 a.m. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9 – 10:30 a.m. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
