Services Saturday For Mrs. T. E. Ray

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 5th, at the Malad Second ward at 1 p.m. for Mrs. Eva Sophia Hansen Stephens Ray, age 71, who died at the Oneida hospital Nov. 2nd, [1960] following a short illness.

Bishop Colen H. Sweeten Jr. will officiate.

Mrs. Ray was born at Gentile Valley, Franklin county, Aug. 19, 1889, a daughter of John Edward and Mary Ellen Clifford Hansen. She was married to Daniel Morgan Stephens Dec. 25, 1913 at St. John. He died Feb. 14, 1919. She was married to Thomas Edward Ray, May 22, 1920. Mr. Ray died Oct. 5, 1955.

Mrs. Ray attended Brigham Young Academy at Logan. She was interested in high school activities and young people’s activities all of her life. She was a member of the LDS church.

Surviving are two daughters, Lucille Stephens, Malad; Mrs. Farrelsic Jones, Pocatello, and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at the family home, 147 N. 70 E.. Friday evening and Saturday prior. Interment will be in the Malad City Cemetery directed by B****.
