GRIFFITHS, EUNICE ISABELL JOHN

Eunice Isabell John Griffiths, 83, of Malad, died November 13, 1978 in a Murray, Utah nursing home after a long illness.

She was born on July 9, 1894 in Woodruff, a daughter of William Henry and Ida Paulina Ward John. She married Hugh Morgan Griffiths July 14, 1915 in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple. Mr.Griffiths died February 1, 1953.

Mrs. Griffiths was raised in the Woodruff and Malad areas and lived in Malad 56 years.

She was a member of the LDS Church and had served as chorister and organist in several organizations. She had also served as Relief Society president and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Survivors include two sons; Hugh Griffiths, Salt Lake City; Neil Griffiths, Murray; two daughters; Mrs. Ralph (Ida) Bolingbroke, Murray; Mrs. Rudy (Norma) Wehrli, Switzerland; 18 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
