Ethel Mills Smith, 93, former area resident, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 1997, at the home of her daughter in Sandy, Utah. She was born Sept. 17, 1903 in Salt Lake City. A daughter of Joseph and Alnora Maria Lott Mills. She married Jennings Brian Smith in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple, on Sept. 17, 1934. Mr. Smith passed away May 20, 1978.
She is survived by 2 sons: James (Jean) Smith of Malad; Rex (Sandra) Smith of Fielding, Utah; 3 daughters: Karma (John) Grismore, Salt Lake City, Utah; Yvonne (Gerald) Henderson, Sandy, Utah; Lawana (Sterling) Herrimann, West Jordan, Utah; 29 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 25, 1997, at 12 noon in the Fielding, Utah Cemetery. Arrangements by the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, Malad.
