ETHEL THOMSON DIES MAY 26

Ethel Daniels Thomson, 80, died at the Oneida County Nursing Home in Malad on May 26, 1984 after an extended illness.

On December 1, 1903 she was born to George and Mary Mae Bolingbroke Daniels in Malad. She was reared and educated in Malad and graduated from Malad High School. She received a teaching certificate in Pocatello and taught school in Portage, Utah and Malad.

On January 5, 1926, she married Robert Evans Thomson in Brigham City, Utah. For a short time they lived in Salt Lake City, then returned to Malad where they lived for many years. They later moved to Pocatello in 1958.

As a member of the LDS Church, she served in the Relief Society and Primary.

Survivors include her husband, Pocatello; two sons, Doneal Thomson, Caldwell and Dennis George Thomson, Winnemucca, NV; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin R. (Sharlene) Williams, Meridian; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Lorin B. Daniels, Malad; three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Estella) Budge, Malad; Mrs. Merl Hughes, Blackfoot; and Mrs. Orlean Treasure, Downey.

Funeral services were held May 29 at the Malad LDS Fourth Ward. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
