ESTHER BYWATER JONES
Funeral services for Mrs. Dan Jones, who died at her home in Lava on July 25, (1939) will be held in the Malad First ward chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the St. John cemetery. Mrs. Jones was a former Malad resident and will be mourned by her many friends here.
Esther Bywater Jones was born September 6, 1875, in Brigham City, the daughter of James and Maria Bywater. She came to Malad when a young girl and engaged in the milinary business here for a number of years. She was married to Daniel S. Jones some 36 years ago and they made their home here for some time, later moving to Lava where they have since resided. Mrs. Jones was a member of the L. D. S. church and an active worker in the relief society.
She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Maude Anne Farr of Pocatello, one grandchild, Rodney Dan Farr and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Charles Peck of Malad, Mrs. L. L. Thompson of Hamilton, Mont.; Mrs. Charlotte Reeder, Mrs. Louie Call, Mrs. Nora Hillman, Alfred Bywater and James Bywater of Brigham City; Mrs. Lily Fosgreen and Mrs. Ella Valentine of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mary Wilson of Los Angeles and Joe Bywater of Myton, Utah.
Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Charles Peck where the body will be until time of services.
