YEARSLEY, ERMA ANN THOMAS, February 20, 1910 – September 20, 2004

Erma Ann Thomas Yearsley, 94, of Driggs, ID, passed away on September 20, 2004 at the Oneida County Long Term Care Center. She was born February 20, 1910 in St. John, ID; the first of five children to Morris and Nellie Deschamps Thomas.

She was reared and educated in St. John and Malad, graduating from Malad High School. She attended business school at LDS Business College in Salt lake City, UT.

She married Clifton Elwood Yearsley in the Logan Temple on November 16, 1932.

Erma was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions, including the Primary, MIA, Relief Society; as organist and chorister and stake missionary. She and Cliff served a mission for the Church to the Indian people in Rapid City, SD in 1944 and 1945. They were also temple officiators from 1969-1988.

Erma loved crafts, knitting, crocheting, quilting and all kinds of handiwork.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers Lowell, D.S., Morris and Obed.

Funeral services will be held September 23 at the Horsley Funeral Home. Burial will be at the St. John Cemetery.
