Funeral held in California for Elmer A. Smith, 67

Funeral services were conducted at Napa, California June 29, for Elmer A. Smith, age 67, who died June 26th following a heart attack.

Entombment was in Tolocay Gardens Mausoleum.

Mr. Smith, son of Thomas Alfred and Eliza Middleton Smith, was born Sept. 26, 1905, at Cherry Creek where he ranched with his father before moving to California in 1929. He worked at the Napa State Hospital dairy and in 1949 became head dairyman. He retired in 1967. He was a member of the LDS Church and Retired California State Empolyes(sic) Association.

Surviving are his widow, Theresa; a daughter, June Stoecker, Carmichael; five brothers, Leon, Camarillo; Charles, Woodland; Marion, San Lorenzo; LaVerne, Malad; Veon, Salt Lake City; one sister, Mrs. Mary W. Gleed, Malad.
