Elizabeth P. Fryer

FRYER, ELIZBETH P., December 12, 1866 – January 20, 1935

Mrs. Elizabeth P. Fryer, 68, died early Sunday at a local hospital. She was born in Pontiac, IL December 12, 1866. She lived in Denver until the death of her husband 14 years ago. Mrs. Fryer had lived here and at Arbon since then. She had been ill over three months.

Mrs. Fryer was married in Denver march 25, 1891 to Elija Samuel Fryer. They moved to Pasadena, CA in 1898 where Mr. Fryer died in 1905.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. W.S. Fredrich of Arbon; two sisters, Mrs. J.L. Halloway of Vallejo, CA, and Mrs. Jesse M. Hilton of Los Angeles; a brother, B.F. Powell of Salina, KS; a step mother, Mrs. F.A. Powell of Santa Monica, CA; a step daughter, Mrs. W.H. Thrall of Alhambra, CA; two step sons, Frank Dale Fryer of Chicago and Warfield Kent Fryer of San Bernardino, CA; and four granddaughters, Elizabeth Jeanne and Francis Rosina Fredrich of Arbon, and Martha and Florence Rosalind Thrall of Alhambra.

Mrs. Fryer’s body rests at McHan’s Mortuary. She will be buried in Bull Canyon, Power County, on the Walter S. Fredrich Ranch, owned by Earl Tubbs.
