October 14, 1929 – February 19, 2012
Elizabeth Morgan, age 82, peacefully passed away in Downey, Idaho on February 19th, after a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of Malad, Elizabeth was born on October 14, 1929, to William Leland Morgan and Mary Thomas Morgan. An only child, she was a devoted and loving daughter.
Elizabeth was educated at Malad schools.
Upon finishing High School, she was employed by the First National Bank where over several decades she held various administrative positions. Friends and residents of Malad will remember her as a trusted, efficient and helpful employee there. When the bank closed, Elizabeth was hired by the FBI in Pocatello where she worked until health problems necessitated her retirement.
As a sincere and devoted member of the LDS church she worked in many callings serving the church. She was known for her kind heart and soft spoken demeanor.
Elizabeth is survived by cousins, Eileen Aste of San Carlos, CA, J. Hugh Williams of Provo, UT, Marilyn Neal of Orem, UT, Dr. B.L. Thomas of Salt Lake City, Janice Colson of St. George, UT and many more relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00-1:00p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery.
